HOUSE OF LEAVES

I'm not sure how to post a picture to me what comes to mind is a accordion .
The book is very psychological  and i feel that the house is expanding and contracting to the individual person and its the person who is opening and closing it not the house itself
What makes me think this is not a specific passage but from the personalities of the characters. There all messed up in some way and there looking for something b/c of the fact that they are sticking with this freaky stuff to begin with instead of walking away

CHARACTER SKETCH

Tom is Wills drunk estranged fraternal twin that first sees his brother Will after 8 years when he gets a call about his brothers expanding house.1
1 "Tom and Navadisons first encounter has nothing to do with each other, instead of addressing interpersonal issues"

2)" Later on Tom lights a joint of marijuana"

3)"Tom finally says exhaling a this stream of smoke, not a drop of booze in 2 years"

This is a link to the author reading the book on youtube.

I actually thought it took away from the book when he was reading it.It sounded boring and typical when he read it when it is really one of a kind. I wonder if he went crazy writing the book I can imagine going crazy between these 2 stories going on the same time and freaking out over where my brain is taking me thinking up this sick stuff.

HOUSE OF LEAVES

First of all WOW..
I have to say this is a great book with a beyond interesting story but it is soo complicated. So far i get it and im working really hard to keep it that way b/c i know this is meant to mess with your head and its not the kind of book you want to have to go back with to find the missing piece that you missed.
I like the Davidson story alot.It start of simple but gets creepy very fast but I'm curious to see if what he is seeing is physical or more psychological. But of course the problem with that is that his win bother and wife sees it to so that takes care of that observation in less  they are also a delusion.
Johny's story confuses me alot. That is what is hard to keep up with for me. I understand the plot of the story but not the details. I'm just nervous about him going crazy soon b/c of it and his life is already messed up so it seems.
This is a fun book to read and im excited to see where it ends up.

Graffiti

Ever since i read the article on  graffiti I notice it everywhere. On the train on the walls but definitely it will pop up in some areas more than others. I start thinking into it now , like why here ever since we discussed it in class so i guess the article and discussions had more of an impact than i suspected.
Miss 17 in the article to me is pure vandalism as of  the other person who is an artist. and when i look out the window or walk by a wall and see graffiti i think is this art that is worth something or is it a Miss 17 who is trying to make a point.

Miss 17 and Baksy

I read the article on Graffiti  and i understand  all points of view but i have my own opinions about it. I get the difference between Baksy Graffiti and Miss 17. From what it sounds like to me is Baksys were art and Miss 17  just scribbled her name everywhere. I understand it represented the changing area but everyone is stuck seeing it and it is only symbolic to a few people.
The history of graffiti is cool, as well as how it started off by getting your name out and then it turned into art on gallery walls  but i feel you dont have to shove your feelings on everyone through the drawings if someone is into that they can go to a gallery but people shouldnt be forced to  see things  they dont want to see.
You have to ask yourself why it makes the value of neighborhoods go down. Most people are doing it at crazy hours at night and what kind of people are they. I know that sounds steriotypical but would you feel safe with your kids walking around at night in that kind of area
I think im missing the point of the article maybe ill get it after tonights class
