The book is very psychological and i feel that the house is expanding and contracting to the individual person and its the person who is opening and closing it not the house itself
What makes me think this is not a specific passage but from the personalities of the characters. There all messed up in some way and there looking for something b/c of the fact that they are sticking with this freaky stuff to begin with instead of walking away

The easiest way to do anything fancy with your blogs(adding images, videos, etc.) is to switch your blog type to "EDIT HTML" before you start typing anything. You will see two tabs on the top right corner of the area where you type when creating a new blog. It is on "COMPOSE" by default. After switching it to HTML mode, you will have a much less frustrating time. Click the icon that looks like a picture of a sky and some grass(its second for the right). Now it gives you a choice of adding an image from your computer or from the web. If it is from the web, you will need to right click on the photo and select PROPERTIES. Look for where it says ADDRESS or URL and select all of that text. This will ensure you get the correct and complete URL for the picture you want. Then just click UPLOAD IMAGE and bam, you're done. Skip down a line or two and continue writing your blog. Hope that helps!
